Fri 8/27 & 8/28: It’s a madhouse! Get set to go ape with the entire classic PLANET OF THE APES series on the big screen in 35mm spread across two nights. Fri 5/27 9:30pm: An infamous Australian classic, WELCOME TO WOOP-WOOP (1997) was Stephan Elliot’s (Priscilla Queen Of The Desert) disastrous flop follow up that has been regarded as one of the worst movies to come out of the country, naturally making it a local cult classic! Fri 8/27 9pm: DARK SIDE OF OZ returns to THE TEXAS THEATER. Back by Popular request in 5.1 surround! THE WIZARD OF OZ special Dark Side of Oz edition with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon acting a Synchronous soundtrack to the classic 1939 film. Original 1939 version screens on Sun. 8/29 at 5pm.
