JAWS (1974)
A tradition of sorts with independent film houses in the U.S as it coincides with the beginning of the North American summer, and regarded as the birth of the Summer Blockbuster. New 4K Restoration of Akira Kurosawa's RAN (1985)
Kurosawa’s monumental, Academy Award-winning adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear has only grown in stature since its original release. Celebrating its 40th anniversary with a stunning new 4K restoration, this epic tale considers the disastrous consequences of Lord Hidetora Ichimonji’s (Tatsuya Nakadai) decision to abdicate and divide his kingdom among his three sons.
